The Tuesdays meet on Tuesday nights from 7.45 – 9.15pm at Saints Philip and James Church Centre, Cold Pool Lane, Up Hatherley.

The Wednesdays was the first of the Cheltenham Singing Groups, created in 2014. Eighteen months later, in September 2015, The Tuesdays Singing Group was born.  We have now grown to around  35 - 40 members.

 

We hold an annual concert for friends, family and the community which over the last four years has raised  money for CCP, GARAS, The Mayoral Charities, the Church roof fund, Mindsong and Orchard Trust.  Other performances have included, Sandford Park Summer Fair, Christmas singing locally, ‘The Mayor’s Civic Dinner’ at Manor in the Lake, The Mayor's Christmas Concert at Cheltenham College, The Cheltenham Festival of Performing Arts and performing on the main stage at 'Party at the Castle' - Sudeley Castle and some joint concerts with other fabulous local choirs. Some of these performances combine all of our singing groups for a truly big sound! 

 

Members of the singing groups are made up of the local communities and the surrounding areas of Cheltenham and Gloucester.

 

Although we arrange performances, it’s all about the singing and our singing community, so if all you want to do is come along to weekly sessions it’s your choice!

Song genres include contemporary, folk, global, spiritual,               

a cappella, rock, gospel, jazz....... and many more!

​
