The Tuesdays was the second of the Cheltenham Singing Groups, first meeting in September 2015. Since then, we have grown to 50 + members. We had a wonderful celebration for our 10th Anniversary at the end of 2025, performing at Cheltenham College and raising money for The Butterfly Garden and The Playhouse Theatre.
We often hold an annual concert for friends, family and the community, which over the years has raised money for CCP, GARAS, The Mayoral Charities, Heidi's Heroes, Mindsong, Orchard Trust, Dementia Uk, The Playhouse Theatre and The Butterfly Garden. Other performances have included, Sandford Park Summer Fair, Christmas singing locally and in Care Homes, Sue Ryder's 'Big Dip' at the Lido and John Lewis. We often perform with other local choirs, such as The Gloucestershire Police Male Voice Choir and BellTide.
Although we arrange performances, it’s all about the singing and our singing community, so if all you want to do is come along to weekly sessions, it’s your choice!

Song genres include contemporary, folk, global, spiritual, a cappella, rock, gospel and many more!

Once you are a member of one of the Cheltenham Singing Groups you will be able to sign up to the Members’ Area where you can access lyrics, audios and event information.

In Memory of Marion Barker (2015 - 2018) - The Tuesdays' original member.
Where we meet
The Tuesdays meet at Warden Hill Primary School on Tuesdays from 7.45pm to 9.15pm.

I have grown in confidence and met some amazing people who I probably would never have even crossed paths with if it were not for the Tuesday's singing group.
This is one of the highlights of my week. Singing without a doubt, is so good for the soul. Louise has really taught us more than I ever thought I was capable of.
